Through these presentations, I was able to combine my cinematography skills with my marketing knowledge to produce content that was not only visually compelling but also strategically grounded. Incorporating feedback from my instructors played a major role in this process. Their critiques helped me refine both my messaging and my analytical approach, ultimately leading to more polished and effective PR materials.

Engagement data indicates that Instagram is Starbucks’ strongest platform, significantly outperforming X and Facebook in terms of likes, shares, and overall interaction. Content featuring seasonal drinks, high quality visuals, and user generated posts consistently receives the highest engagement. In comparison, competitor Dunkin’ focuses more on humor and trend driven content, while Starbucks maintains a more polished, storytelling based approach.

I identified two standout tools: ChatGPT (AI tool) and Hootsuite (non-AI social media management platform). Both offer free access options and provide valuable functionality for PR professionals managing media outreach, content creation and brand reputation.

Creative responsibility is unavoidable. Every piece of content released into the world shapes perception in some way. When we approach storytelling with intention, integrity, and awareness, creativity becomes a force for connection and change. I am no longer interested in creating just to be seen. I am interested in creating work that is felt, remembered, and meaningful. That is where real influence begin

The assignment that stood out to me the most was producing my podcast. It allowed me the freedom to be creative while requiring thorough behind the scenes work. Researching copyright law, liability, and ethical standards significantly changed how I view content creation.
